Traveling east by car on Interstate 84 it is a short trip to visit Multnomah Falls.  Beautiful anytime of the year.  A gift shop and restaurant nearby are popular spots to take in after a short hike up to the bridge.  For hiking enthusiasts, a trip to the top of the falls takes longer and good sturdy pair of shoes.  Be sure to bring a water bottle and wear appropriate clothing for the outdoors..
